In this month's educational meeting, we will hear Morgan Jones, PhD, explore the future of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB).

Dr. Jones will journey through the rich history and obstacles of DEIB, uncover why it remains a vital commitment for us all, and envision the transformative possibilities ahead. Together, we will ignite our collective passion for building a more inclusive future and empower each other to be champions of lasting change.

Learning objectives:

By the end of this session, members will be able to:

Unpack of the historical context of DEIB including key milestones and challenges that have shaped the current landscape.
Understand the importance of why DEIB is important to organizational culture.
Explore future trends of DEIB and strategies to continue moving the work forward.

Workshop #1 – Inclusion:

Come listen and share inclusion best practices in the areas of recruiting, performance management, and engagement. This workshop is ideal for any HR professional or anyone interested in learning more about inclusion.

Workshop #2 – Building a DEI Program (Where do I start and how do I get buy-in?):

Learn about some key steps necessary for building a new DEI program including getting buy-in from key stakeholders. This workshop is great for someone recently assigned to a new DEI program, someone interested in creating a DEI program, ANYONE interested in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs.

Workshop #3 – DEI Best Practices:

This workshop is designed for established DEI practitioners to share their experiences and achievements they have encountered in their careers.
