All organizations experience internal and external issues. These issues range from customer complaints, reviews, fraud prevention to reputation management. The BBB works to maintain trust in the marketplace by providing tools and resources that help businesses build strong relationships with customers, peers, industry groups, and employees. The BBB also provides consumer education and offers programs aimed at helping businesses adopt best practices.
Topics covered in this presentation will include data retention, transparency, compliance, and common HR challenges which may impact a business’s reputation.
Speaker Jason Meza, MA, APR Senior Regional Director, San Antonio
Jason Meza serves as the Senior regional director for Better Business Bureau serving the Heart of Texas (BBB). His responsibilities include media, investigations, public relations, and community outreach in San Antonio and Laredo.
Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in human sciences from Our Lady of the Lake University. He is Accredited in Public Relations through PRSA.
Prior to joining BBB, Jason also worked for Univision Radio, The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Foundation, and Goodwill Industries of San Antonio. Additionally, he operates a freelance voiceover and consulting business and is President-Elect for the Public Relations Society of America, San Antonio Chapter.

Onsite registrations are accepted at the door on a first-come, first-served basis. If you cannot make the event, please let us know 72 hours beforehand by sending an email to support@sahrma.org, so that we can cancel your registration. SAHRMA will gladly issue a credit to your profile for future SAHRMA event registration(s) or a SAHRMA membership / renewal.
