The Impact of Mental Health Awareness in Multigenerational Workplaces

In this month's educational meeting, we will be joined by a panel of three speakers: W. Robert Kiser, Doug Beach, and Sinclair Ceasar III. We will be discussing mental health awareness strategies that will help accommodate to all generations in the workplace. The different needs each generation needs, bringing awareness to employees about the support they can receive, and translating that awareness into action!

Learning objectives:

By the end of this session, members will be able to:

• Explore ways to create an inclusive workplace culture that respects and supports mental health needs regardless of age. 
• Develop effective communication strategies for discussing mental health in a diverse, multigenerational workforce. 
• Identify and challenge stereotypes and stigmas surrounding mental health in the workplace. 
• Understand how investing in workplace mental health increases psychological safety for employees 
• Recognize the impact of Mental Health First Aid training on employee engagement and retention.
