Mission-Driven Leadership

In this month's educational meeting, Lisa Campos, Ed.D., the Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Texas at San Antonio, will share her knowledge as a first-generation college student to a journey she never expected.

Lisa Campos speaks about her personal experiences, her path to the athletics director role and how she provides Mission-Driven Leadership as a servant leader on a daily basis to serve UTSA's nearly 400 student-athletes.

Learning objectives:

By the end of this session, members will be able to:

Understand how servant leadership works.
Recognize what winning teams look like.
Have the ability to build strong relationships with all constituents.

We will also have Johnathon Halbesleben, the Dean of the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at The University of Texas at San Antonio, speak on behalf of UTSA as they allow us to host this wonderful event for us.

HRCI & SHRM recertification credit.

Parking and Location:

We would like all attendees to park in the Ximenes Ave Garage. Your parking will be covered by The Center of Professional Excellence (CPE) at UTSA. Please bring your entry ticket to the Denman Room for us to validate your parking.

The location for the event will be the Denman Room in the Student Union. On the map below you will see two squares, one will be the Ximenes Ave Garage (XAG) and the other will be the Student Union (SU) where the Denman Room is located.

The menu for the food being served will consist of the following:

Onsite registrations are accepted at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
