Katherine S. Perez, ADR Coordinator-Katherine began her career with the EEOC over 27 years ago. Prior to assuming her current position as the Dallas District Office’s ADR Coordinator, she served as an Investigator, Mediator and ADR Coordinator for the former San Antonio District Office. In her present role, she oversees the EEOC’s mediation programs in the Dallas District Office, the San Antonio Field Office and the El Paso Area Office, which mediate employment discrimination cases throughout Northern, Western and Southern Texas, as well as, Southern New Mexico. Ms. Perez also presents on a myriad of topics relating to employment discrimination and mediation for various universities and organizations.
Ernesto Escobedo has 28 years of federal government service, primarily at the US Air Force and US EEOC, where he has worked as an Investigator, Supervisor, and Mediator. He is certified SPHR and SHRM-SCP.
Ernesto is an Approved Instructor to teach the SHRM PREP-CLASS for the CP & SCP certifications. Ernesto currently serves on the SAHRMA Executive Board & Treasurer Director. He was the previous SAHRMA Workforce Director.
Cecil Warren, ADR Mediator- Cecil Warren has served as an ADR Mediator since 2012. Prior to his role as a Mediator, he held the position of Investigator and State & Local Program Manager with the EEOC.
Gwen Sneed, ADR Mediator-Gwen Sneed joined the EEOC Dallas District Office from the
Department of Justice in approximately 1985 where she transferred and was subsequently
promoted to the position of Federal Investigator in the EEOC Oklahoma City Area Office. She served in that position until approximately 1987 when she transferred to the EEOC Kansas City Area Office in the position of Supervisory CR/TIU Federal Investigator. Ultimately, she returned to the EEOC Oklahoma City Area Office in the position of Senior Federal Investigator where she was later promoted to the Supervisory Enforcement Federal Investigator, and thereafter, in October 2000, transferred to the position of ADR Mediator. She recently joined the EEOC Dallas District Office in the position of ADR Mediator.
Manuel Medina, ADR Mediator-Manuel Medina began his career with the EEOC in 2014. Prior to assuming his current position as the El Paso Area Office’s Mediator, he served as an Investigator for the San Antonio Field Office. In his present role, he mediates employment discrimination cases throughout Northern, Western and Southern Texas, as well as, Southern New Mexico. Mr. Medina also presents on Equal Opportunity topics for the U.S. Army Reserves as he serves as his unit’s Equal Opportunity Leader.
Danita Anderson-Richards, Investigator-Danita E. Anderson-Richards began her career with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in 2010 as a Legal Technician. She participated in the EEOC Mentoring Program with the intent of someday becoming an Investigator with the agency. In June 2014, Mrs. Anderson-Richards’ hard work and persistence was recognized when she became a Federal Investigator.
Prior to coming to the EEOC, Mrs. Anderson-Richards served 24 years in the United
States Air Force; and four years with Texas Department of Family Protective Services
as a Child Protective Services Investigator.
