SHRM officially approved our chapter name change to: San Antonio SHRM.

Who is SHRM?

Founded in 1948, the Society for Human Resource Management is a professional human resources membership association headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia. SHRM promotes the role of HR as a profession and provides education, certification, and networking to its members, while lobbying Congress on issues pertinent to labor management.

Why the name change?

Our chapter name change from San Antonio Human Resource Management Association to San Antonio SHRM aligns our affiliate chapter name with SHRM national.  We now have SHRM in our chapter name.
