The Workforce Readiness Committee serves as chapter advocates for participation in local, state and federal workforce readiness initiatives. The committee is responsible for building awareness and encouraging volunteerism to help strengthen the workforce.

Volunteer Opportunity

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission San Antonio Field Office is seeking a temporary volunteer to assist the San Antonio and El Paso mediation units with administrative tasks until June 30, 2022. Specifically, the tasks would include: entering data into the EEOC’s data system; maintaining/updating various spreadsheets; drafting template documents for signature; uploading files into TEAMS and responding to customer inquiries.  The position would be conducted 100% via telework. The volunteer will need to have a laptop in order to perform tasks since EEOC will not be able to provide one. Desired skills seeking: basic computer skills with Microsoft suite; eagerness to learn and assist; ability to begin asap after a background check is performed/passed.
