Our Story
Founded in 2017 by US Air Force Veterans, Dynamic Advancement has quickly established itself as one of Military City USA’s premiere Professional Development firms. With the goal of offering unique training techniques, a cadre of Subject Matter Experts (SME) instructors and staff, Dynamic Advancement’s true core competency is a deep understanding of the business results professional development brings to an individual and an organization.
The HR Certification Study Course (HRCSC) at A&M-SA
The HRCSC is sponsored by SHRM at Texas A&M University, San Antonio. The program has been successfully delivered since 2013 for consecutive semesters (fall, spring, summer) in preparing HR professionals for HRCI
(aPHR; PHR; SPHR) and SHRM (CP; SCP) national certification exams.
The program features 13 weeks of instructor-led content, followed by 11 weeks of self-directed study. Students have unlimited access to all course resources for 180 days for review and practice.
The HRCSC features flexible learning options to meet every HR professional’s busy schedule. Students can stream real-time or view recorded lectures later at a convenient time. The HRCSC offers in-depth topics on HR policy, practice, and procedure in parallel with HRCI and SHRM exam content, testing environment, and exam format. The program features an individual student diagnostic and study plan, mirrors HRCI and SHRM Bodies Knowledge, and review of test-taking strategies.

SAHRMA ART EDGARIAN/CHARLES UMSCHEID Scholarship AwardThe Art Edgarian / Charles Umscheid Scholarship is awarded twice a year in recognition of Art Edgarian and Charles Umscheid who were two key SAHRMA contributors.
The scholarship award is $1,000 dollars for each student selected. There will be one scholarship awarded in the Fall and one in the Spring. All candidates must meet the criteria outlined in the Application for consideration. To apply, please be prepared with the below items outlined in the checklist and complete the entire online submission process. SAHRMA Member Scholarships
Irene Florida HR Certification Scholarship
The Irene Florida HR Certification Scholarship was developed and implemented in 1998 as a means of providing eligible SAHRMA members the opportunity to take a certification review course and/or sit for the official exam. Up to two (2) scholarships may be awarded each year, one for the winter exam and one for the spring exam.
The scholarship may be used toward the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification. Scholarship winners must sit for the exam and will be reimbursed for the cost of a review course and/or exam fees, up to a maximum of $600.00. Proof of exam and actual expenses must be submitted.
Eligibility: SAHRMA Professional, General, or Associate Member who meets the SHRM eligibility criteria and whose SAHRMA membership has been active during the last 12 consecutive months. SAHRMA Members seeking certification or recertification can be considered.
